Saltwater Pool Care
A salt pool is still a chlorine pool — the cell just makes the chlorine for you. We check and clean the cell, keep the salt where it belongs, watch stabilizer so the generator is not working against itself, and keep the water balanced so the cell lasts its full life.

What you actually get.
- Salt cell inspection and cleaning
- Salt level testing and adjustment
- Stabilizer and pH control
- Cell output and runtime tuning
- Scale and calcium management
- Replacement guidance when a cell is done
Saltwater Care questions.
Why is my salt pool still turning green?
Usually the cell is scaled or failing, the salt level dropped, or the stabilizer is too low so the chlorine burns off in the sun. The generator is working, but not producing enough. Testing the cell output and the water together finds it.
How often does a salt cell need cleaning?
In North Texas, typically every few months depending on your calcium hardness. High hardness scales the cell faster, which is why we check calcium as part of saltwater service.
How long does a salt cell last?
Most cells run three to seven years depending on hours, water chemistry, and how well they are maintained. Cleaning on schedule and keeping the chemistry right is what gets you the long end of that range.
Do you convert pools to saltwater?
We install and service salt systems, and we will tell you honestly whether it makes sense for your pool versus staying on traditional chlorine.
